2D drafting + 3D modeling · one browser tab

A CAD workstation that opens in a tab.

AutoCAD-style drafting and parametric solid modeling, both running in the browser. Nothing to install and nothing to upload — your drawings stay on your machine.

  • Real 3D solids
  • DXF · STEP · STL · PDF
  • Works offline

Modules

Draft in 2D. Model in 3D. Same tab.

One menu switches the module. Below is the same part as the drawing above — this time as a solid.

Layers, linetypes, osnap, grips, hatch, blocks and dimensions — with DXF as the native format. Type LINE or LINIA; both work.

3D · MODELING

Parametric solids with full history

Sketch on a plane or on a face of the solid, constrain it, extrude it. Every feature stays in the tree — change a dimension and the part rebuilds.

Command line

It answers to typing.

The same input you already have in your fingers: absolute 0,0, relative @120,0, polar @r50<45, or just a distance while the cursor points the way. Enter repeats the last command, space acts as Enter, and so does right-click.

  • F8 toggles ORTHO
  • Esc cancels the command
  • Aliases work in Polish and English

Files

Your files stay files.

Nothing goes to a server. The browser reads and writes the formats your shop already uses.

Format Direction What for
DXFread + writenative format of the 2D module (R12 write, R12+ read)
STEPimport + exportsolid exchange with SolidWorks, Fusion, FreeCAD
STL · OBJexportmeshes for 3D printing and rendering
PDF · SVGprintvector print straight from the 2D drawing

Offline & devices

Install it, then pull the plug.

MirekCAD is a PWA. The whole app, 3D module included (about 50 MB on the first visit), lands in the browser cache, so the next launch needs no network at all. Documents autosave locally.

  • Installits own window, an icon, and shortcuts to the 2D and 3D module
  • Touchtap picks, one finger pans or orbits, two fingers zoom
  • Languagethe whole interface and every message in English and Polish
  • Privacyno account, no server, no drawings leaving the device

Open a tab and draw.

Open MirekCAD

The first visit loads the 3D module (14 MB compressed). After that it starts from the browser cache.
